Payment
Payment is required before an order is packed. Online grocery payments are processed through TBC E-Commerce. We do not currently offer cash on delivery. There is no minimum order value.
Tbilisi orders: customer-arranged pickup
Orders within Tbilisi are available for pickup by a third-party courier or taxi service arranged by the customer. Yandex Delivery is one commonly used example; Daratan Foods does not provide or contract that pickup service.
- Place and pay for the order online.
- After payment is confirmed, our staff will prepare and pack the order.
- When the order is ready for pickup, the customer will be notified.
- We will provide an order code for verification.
- The customer sends the courier to collect the order.
- Staff will verify the order code and hand the packed order to the courier.
Courier responsibility and fees
The customer is responsible for arranging and paying the third-party pickup service directly. Daratan Foods charges no logistics or handling fee on Tbilisi pickup orders.
Orders outside Tbilisi within Georgia
After payment is confirmed, our staff will prepare the parcel and take it to the nearest Georgian Post location. When it is ready for handoff, the customer will be notified.
A flat 10 GEL Daratan logistics and handling fee is charged at checkout for taking the parcel from our store to the Georgian Post location near the store. This is not the Georgian Post transportation charge from Tbilisi to the customer’s city. The customer must provide their full name, phone number, and address, pays Georgian Post’s separate transportation charge, and collects the parcel from the Georgian Post location serving the destination.
Georgian Post controls its own transportation timeframe and current service charge. Daratan Foods does not promise or control that timeframe.
Order processing
Orders are prepared after payment confirmation. We will contact the customer if clarification is needed before the order is handed to a third-party pickup service or Georgian Post.
